yesterday, when the sun shone

I hadn't been to Amsterdam in months, and I missed it. Also, I had a free (first class!) train ticket that expired today. So I packed my camera, and a good book - I am reading Luisa Weiss' "My Berlin Kitchen" and loving it - and spent my Sunday afternoon strolling.

I used to do this often, when I worked close to the magic, and it was good to do it again.
